Aku no hana is actually pretty good wow, I know the animation style is different and stuff but for some reason I like it a lot.
-Every new day I’m more and more convinced that this ability of Yunare is not just talent but PURE MAGIC. I know exactly what style is this drawing, I knonw it’s not really a graphic style but a result of the process of rotoscopy; but I actually would like more if the series was entirely rendered as this drawing, and not as they are doing. This version not only looks prettier, it’s also creepy as hell, and I think that if this were in motion (rotoscopy and all) It would manage to hit the very center of the uncanny valley. (And not missing it by a little and going directly to comedy, as it happens sometimes in the show)
-Cada día que pasa estoy más convencido que la habilidad de Yunare no es simple talento sino MAGIA. Al ver la imagen reconozco inmediatamente el personaje, entiendo el estilo, que no es realmente un tipo de dibujo sino producto del proceso de rotoscopía; pero me gustaría más que la serie resultara con gráficos como este y no con lo que están haciendo. No sólo se ve “más bonito” sino que hasta asusta un poco más, y si mi imaginación no falla, en movimiento lograría acertarle al mismo centro del valle inquietante (y no pasar por el borde y terminar cayendo muy cerca de la comedia, como siento que pasa en algunos momentos de la serie)

Sometimes I want to apologize for not being able to talk to people like a normal human being. So I made these.
I wish I could send one of these to everyone I know, to apologise for babbling incessantly about absolutely nothing, just because I’m lonely…
I think I will print some of those. Pocket Size. So in case of conversation I will give one of those and run away…
(Well… not really, I *can* mantain a convincing “normal conversation” but the effort I require to make this work -Thinking fast, crossing references, calculating the most appropiate response at every question based on other similar cases, checking the words I am about to say can’t be misinterpreted, estimate the probabilities that a joke will work, etc. All in real time- is enormous; I get tired very fast when I do that, so I keep this to a minimum required.)
